The chart presents the trends of turmeric and ginger production and cultivation area in Bangladesh from 2009–10 to 2018–19. Turmeric production (blue bars) fluctuated during the period, peaking around 2013–14, while turmeric cultivation area (orange line) showed a steady rise until 2013–14 before stabilizing. Ginger production (green bars) followed a more consistent pattern with a noticeable increase in 2013–14 and 2014–15, aligning with the rise in ginger cultivation area (blue line), which peaked around 2014–15 and then leveled off. Overall, both turmeric and ginger production and cultivated areas grew during the first half of the period but stabilized in the later years, indicating a plateau in both crop yields and land use.
