The Bandarban Hill District Council (RHDC) is a local government body established to manage administrative, development, and social affairs in the Rangamati Hill District of Bangladesh. Formed under the Hill District Council Act and strengthened by the 1997 CHT Accord, the council promotes the rights and welfare of Indigenous communities, ensuring local participation in governance. It plays a key role in formulating and implementing policies on education, health, infrastructure, cultural and other affairs in the region.
